TPH was founded by Trish Beesley of Trish Beesley Photography in 2012 after a client referred to her home studio as The Photographers House. After several years of owning a business Trish realized that there was something missing from the industry. While there were many amazing platforms to learn from, and many that you could rent space from, there were few that offered all the things a new photographer and business owner might need and almost no easily accessible Canadian platforms. With that, The Photographers House was re-initiated in 2019 and based more on Education and Community where Collaboration over Competition is a fundamental core value.
Our mission is to be the ultimate resource for hobbyists and professional photographer's in Canada. This community will help photographers by offering support, education and inspiration while building a professional standard for photographers across the country.
Our goal s to be a Canadian Resource Centre dedicated to helping Photographers excel by offering a space and community they can work and learn from. We are also dedicated to only using Canadian or Canadian Friendly resources.
